原创英文诗朗诵《致坚守在家的妈妈们》

How many times I stand in front of the window, gazing at the floating clouds,

How many times I picture in my mind how the spring would be like outside in parks,

How many times I count the days I fail to enjoy fancy restaurants and  new clothes I have no occasion to wear?

How many times we miss the ordinary carefree moments!

One day, two days, three days…

One week, two weeks, three weeks…

One month, two months, if our country needs, we could make it three months at home, to win the fight if it is!

There had never been a day that we did contribution to this country by just lying on the couch! Now it comes! And China, you have your people’s word! No out, only in!

What is it like when a working mother staying at home?

She is much busier than in normal working days,

Three meals a day, endless housework, always keeping an eye on her child, restless night and day,

Her hair turning silver,

Her wrinkle growing deeper,

Yet her care and concern about her family never shrink.

There is never such a sacred role as mother who could do the same work day by day without a sigh,

There is never such an unselfish creature as mother who could sacrifise all her youth raising child without a whine.

But there is still a little girl in a mother’s heart,

there are still dreams of youth to fulfill,

there is still mood to present the world an elegant look

No matter loads of work to do,

No matter how hard the life is.

The winter is about to end, the spring is sure to come.

We will release our steps wildly when the trees are greener, when the flowers are prettier, when the air is sweeter

Because our country has our word.

Wish our nation back to prosperity,

Wish our students could sit in class,

Wish everything back to the delightful normal!
